Description: Human IgE lambda (myeloma)

Volume: 1 ml (1 mg/ml)

Source: Isolated from human IgE myeloma patient (see reference below). Source tested for HCV, HBSAG, HIV-1, HIV-2, HTLV-I, HTLV-II and found to be negative.

Form: Purified directly from dialyzed defibrinated plasma by DEAE chromatography yielding a >95% pure protein band (188 kDa) on SDS-PAGE (see below).

Buffer/Composition: PBS pH 7.4; 0.1% sodium azide (NaN3)

Storage:

Short Term: 4oC

Long Term: -20oC (avoid repeated freeze/thaw)

Applications: Binds to high affinity FcERI in vivo. Can also serve as a positive control and protein standard in various biological assays.
