Description
Trenbolone is classified as an anabolic steroid used via implants in beef cattle production to enhance growth rate and feed efficiency. Trenbolone is an androgenic growth promotant. FDA has noted that tolerance for trenbolone acetate (parent drug) in uncooked edible tissues of cattle is not needed as the acceptable daily intake is 0.4 microgram per kilogram of body weight per day.Effectiveness and animal safety in veal calves have not been established, and FDA does not allow Trenbolone use in dairy or beef replacement heifers. Canada has established an MRL of 10 ppb for -Trenbolone in cattle liver and 2 ppb for -Trenbolone in cattle muscle, other than calves to be processed for veal.
